WebP Studio · Getting started

Smaller images, in five steps.

Prepare images for websites and digital menus with the local converter by Agent IQ.

Your images stay on your device.

Conversion runs locally in your browser. Images are never uploaded, and no installation or account is needed. Use Download offline copy to save the tool, then open webp-studio.html in your browser whenever you need it, even without an internet connection.

How to convert your images

  1. Add your images

Drag images or folders into the window, or use Browse images and Choose input folder.

  2. Choose quality and speed

Set WebP quality up to 72% and choose the number of parallel workers. Enable Menu images to lock quality at 32% for smaller menu photos.

  3. Name your output folder

Keep “WebP Converted” or enter a new folder name. Leave Preserve folders enabled to keep your input subfolders.

  4. Choose where to save

Click Choose save location and select where the new output folder should be created. In browsers without direct folder saving, files are offered as individual downloads.

  5. Convert and enjoy

Click Convert. Your WebP files are saved to the new folder, or use the download links when conversion finishes.

Browser & compatibility

Chrome or Microsoft Edge is recommended for creating the output folder and saving files directly. Other browsers may offer individual downloads instead. Works on Windows, macOS, or Linux with a modern browser.

Format notes

  • GIF files become a still image of the first frame.
  • AVIF and other newer formats depend on your browser’s decoding support.

Before saving: Existing files with the same names inside the chosen output folder are replaced. Choose a different folder name if you want to keep earlier results.
